See the note
Light on the fingerboard — and on screen — shows exactly where each note is played, before you play it.
Violin · Cello · Oud · Piano · Qanun
A smarter way to learn your instrument — light shows you every note, and Nawa listens as you play.
01 — The instrument
Nawa pairs a real instrument with intelligent visual guidance, so you always know where to play and what to practise next.
Explore the violin02 — See the music
Each LED on the violin board is a note — thirty of them across four strings. Light shows you where to play before you reach for it.
03 — Learn by doing
Nawa shows the note, you play it, and it listens — telling you if you landed in tune and on time.
04 — The technology
An LED fingerboard, real-time pitch detection and maqam-aware guidance — all designed to enhance your instrument without taking away what makes playing it special.
05 — Cello
Guidance that follows the cello’s longer reach, from first position to the far end of the fingerboard.
06 — The cello board
Every LED sits under the C, G, D or A string at the spot its note is played — so a new position is something you see before you reach for it.
07 — Oud
عود
Arabic music isn’t an add-on. The oud has its own board and a curriculum built on the maqamat — taught in Arabic and English.
Explore the oud08 — Quarter tones
Nine of the oud board’s thirty-three LEDs sit on quarter-tone positions — the half-flat notes behind maqam Rast and Bayati. Here they glow amber so you can find them.
09 — Piano
No device needed — the keyboard on screen lights the way, from first scales to full pieces.
Explore the piano10 — Every instrument
Violin, cello, oud, piano and qanun on one platform, with the maqamat and quarter tones taught properly in Arabic and English.
11 — The instruments
The violin, cello and oud each have a board built for them, the qanun has a light on every course, and the piano is guided on screen. Open one to see it up close.
12 — Why Nawa
Light on the fingerboard — and on screen — shows exactly where each note is played, before you play it.
Nawa listens through the microphone on a 24-tone scale — ±35 cents for notes, ±20 for quarter tones — and tells you to go higher or lower.
Rast, Bayati, Hijaz, Nahawand and more — Arabic music taught in Arabic and English, with quarter tones shown as ¼.
Ask questions in text or voice, generate practice exercises, and light up maqam positions on the board — in English or Arabic.
